 Nihongo Center is a Japanese school located in the heart of Kyoto. Withover 39 years of experience teaching the Japanese language, we have establishedourselves with our unique teaching methods as well as the talent and abilityof our experienced instructors. We have a very diverse student populationat our school, with a good majority of students from western countries.Our JLPT-based curriculum helps ensure a high pass-rate for any level ofthe test. In addition, we help students grow and develop their self-expressionand communication skills through project work, class discussions, etc.Because of our rich and varied curriculum, many of our Japanese languagestudents have been able to pass the entrance exams needed to continue onto universities throughout Japan without any worries about language barriers.

 The Intensive Course is for those who wish to thoroughly study Japanesefor a year or longer, and is particularly suited for those wishing to improvetheir language skills, continue their education in Japan, or find a jobthat makes use of their Japanese language skills. Classes are divided into4 levels, with curriculum designed to each student’s ability. In particular,the course focuses on developing the student’s verbal communication skills,while helping to develop reading, writing, and listening as well. Guidanceis also provided for those wishing to take the Japanese Language ProficiencyTest, enter university or find work in Japan.
